Hey Eddie and the Outlaws. Any idea when the racing will be done on Sunday. We are trying to book flights and need to see if we have enough time to get to the airport.

The Texas Outlaws will have a slalom session on Oct 24h in Austin. Details to follow. Every one is welcome to attend, plenty of loaner boards. More details to follow. Friday evening is Lous B-Day, we celebrate it rather Lou is there or not. We are also celebrating Marcos win in Kentucky. Big Ryans win at Indian School. Welcoming Jason aka Borto to the Outlaws and remember no hitting the facial area during the intiation is not permitted. And our new member also Tommy Watson who is injured at this time. Heal quickly bro. And most of all counting our blessings. Thank you to Davo from Skaterbuilt for hooking up Gumby, Mig from FullBag for hooking up Chris Doan aka Gorrillabiscuits and Don from Pavel for being a bro. SlimJAK Decks

Back in September I wrote on Skull and Bones Forum about my bro SlimJAK McCarroll.....

http://www.skullandbonesskateboards.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=78645&highlight=slimjak

Slim passed away from Crohn's disease (think I mispoke before and mentioned Grave's disease)....

http://www.crohnsonline.com/About/symptoms.aspx?s_kwcid=chrones%20disease%20more%3Acondition_symptoms 2875200709

SlimJAK tribute boards are now a reality with the proceeds going to Slim's widow and 2 kids. The graphics are a colaboration effort of ROnNy RiPpErJAK (who drew Slim's JAKS colors that appear on this board), WesTexas' photo he took of Slim holding the microphone and Tim Shawl, one of the most talented skate artists of our day. If you ever wanted to help someone out I would ask that you help now in honoring my bro Slim and his family in snagging one or two or ten of these. Backstabber Skates produced the boards if anyone is curious and they have 2 different shapes to choose from. The size is roughly 9 X 32. If you are interested please follow the directions below from my bro WesTexas. (From the Texas Poolsharks site....)

The Slim Memorial skateboards are here! So here is what you need to do if you want one.

1. Figure out how many you want and what shape (both are "old school" pool boards).

2. Get together where you want them shipped.

3. email and give me the above info at wtexas@gmail.com

4. I will call or email you the cost ($60 a board + shipping ?) and where you can send the dough (my home address or my PayPal account).

5. I will ship the boards to you once I get the dough.

Thank you in advance!

Hey Outlaws,
I'm Comin' to the sizzler and I couldn't be more more excited for my first trip to the great land of Texas. One question: Should I bring my park board? I saw a picture, as I scrolled down, of some pool coping that made my Indys itch! I'd love to see how the Texas Pool Sharks ride trany!

National Transportation Safety Board recently divulged they had funded a project with the US auto makers for the past five years. The NTSB covertly funded a project whereby the auto makers were installing black boxes in four wheel drive pickup trucks in an effort to determine, in fatal accidents, the circumstances in the last 15 seconds before the crash.

They were surprised to find in 49 of the 50 states the last words of drivers in 61.2% of fatal crashes were, "Oh, s#@!!"

Only the state of Texas was different, where 89.3% of the final words were, "Hey Y'all, hold my beer and watch this!"
