As Hugh noted, we need a banner which will appear both on this forum as well as on the Events forum. We're hoping someone in the GRS world could step up to building a nice banner.

In hopes of some things that HG has in the works...
I am hoping that one of you grapics guys can design a very nice banner... It would need to say Grass Roots Slalom on it somewhere, and somehow capture the essences of our association... who's up to the task? If more than one turns out real good, I have no problem with putting it to a vote for all associated chapters... HR

Nice idea Tway, I have to admit that the thought did occur to me but only for a moment. Then I realized that we already fill up the whole page and it kinda kills the need. Now putting it up somewhere like the Speedboarding forum would be kinda funny but then we don't need the negative vibe. Maybe the Guess Book or the Bullet in Board might be more fertile ground.

Any thoughts on procuring a banner add on this page for GRS?

Hey Lloyd, since steel wheel gave up on using g.r.a.s.s., does that mean we can now use grass all we want now? woo-hoo! Time to go carve it up at the skunk bowl.

Nah Dave, it's just me... ...sorry I'm so slow. Now that I have a window office in the Huge Corporation, I find the secretary's too distractin'. Next batch o' schtuff goes out today (uhm, er, make that tomorrow)!

Brian Richardson-has a nice ring to it, but I like speedball!
I didn't get a cd, but I'm sure it's great-just don't have the subwoofer capable of fully extracting the SIGNIFICANCE, I'm sure. . .
Happy holidays, my KHRT brethren and sisterin'.

I (as usual) feel left out!!! :( didn't get my CD...Ahh the wait is worth the reward! Maybe..just maybe the West Virginia division of ther US Postal service had to test it to make sure it included the U.S.R.D.A of Bluegrass! Dave G

SS OF S - Yes, I think I speak for everyone that has a copy and your mix CD is bangin. Keep it up! As a former Dj I have to be a critic. The thing is SEAMLESS. The "jazziness" of it would make a great soundtrack to another slalom vid. IMHO.

C-money,if you love that add check out 1978-V5N3-October-Page142.jp on the Russ Howell site. 23 years later possession of any of the three would still make you proud.
The 2 GRS chapters of Arizona will set cones Dec 29, 2001 somewhere around Anthem off I-17 north of PHX weather permitting. email if interested. more coming.

Happy Holidays, folks. I loved the FreeFormer ad-I had forgotten about it, and was young enough when it ran that I didn't even get it ("keeps you flyin' higher" heh heh heh). Thanks for the memory, Ricky. What were those trucks anyway? Looked like a bennett hangar with some adjustable baseplates. And those wheels looked similar to v-twelve NGENs! Neat board. I'll take a 30" off anyones' hands!
I look forward to seeing everyone next year at as many events as possible. Thanks for keeping it together. . .
