Does ANYBODY skate longboards/old school in MONTREAL! I know they're selling them in a few shops I just never see them in the streets. I'm really out of the loop here on the west island of Montreal. So if you're like me (old schooland/orlongbrder)please let me know. (Even if you're only thinking about getting back into it.)

Does anyone bomb hills in Hampshire, England? I've been skating for a few years now, and can't find anyone brave enough to not mind a little road rash. I used to skate ramp, years ago, with the likes of Don Brider. I was the one who found the location for the Dead rabbits ramp and helped build it R.I.P. Now I skate for speed, and the feeling is just great. Help I need a bombing pal

I started a skate gang back in the seventies called the N-Men. I also raced for Fat City Racing, and team Santa Cruz. We used to run 80 cone courses on OLO decks up in the sierra foothills. I raced in dozens of events including the USSA Am series, the Colorado ARA races, the Capitola Classic, the Laguna Seca races, the Berkeley contests, and countless smaller events in northern Cal. I once saw a guy shoot Signal Hill in Long Beach on a big wheel with no shoes. We gave a demo for Santa Cruz in Mammouth Mountain and watched the Rhino Racing Team fly sixty feet in the air in a three man catamiran into a Van sized boulder. I live in Malibu and have never stopped skating. As usual, I've got all the best spots scoped out and am riding the newest wave of the longboard revolution, or is that evolution? If you are going to be near Malibu and you want indulge in some hige speed drafting, or run some slalom, I've got the origonal white Fat City cones. Or if you just knew me back in the day, or my brothers who skated for Sims and you want to say hello, write me an E-mail. Where is Randy Katen, Gary Cross, Jamie Hart, Criddle, Merrick, Woodman? Hell, I even miss Roger Folsam. N-MEN Unite!

I started skating in Sacramento in the seventies and founded a skate gang called the N-MEN. I was also an origonal member of the Fat City Racing team with Dave Criddle, Tom Merrick, Dave Woodman, Jamie Hart, Randy Katen and later skated for Santa Cruz with John Krisick, Hutson, and a variety of other dedicated downhill racers. We competed in hundreds of races including all the ARA races in Colorado and the USASA events including the state championship races in which we always smoked the competition. We all had experience in ski racing and because we started running cones early on we never encountered courses that could not handle. Ultimatly Pro slalom turned into nothing but straight cones but when we trained it was all big hill courses with wide GS turns mixed by tight flushes. Our favorite spots were up in the foothills of the Sierras and had names like Bass Lake road, and Eldorado Hills. Team Alot-a-flex from Berkeley were among some of the best hill skaters and used to draft four and five guys deep down some hellacious hills in the east Bay. I once saw a guy shoot Signal Hill in Long Beach on a big wheel with no shoes. Terry Nails, Guy Grundy, the Bad H, I saw all of the origonal speed freaks race. The Capatola Classic, and the Laguna Seca Races were my favorite downhills because they were well run and always attracted some fine crumpet for after the race. Fat City Racing lives on in the hills of Malibu. I never stopped skating hills and as usual I know all the best spots near my home in Malibu. I see Olson every now and then and he can still rip but nobody can skate hills like a Nor-Cal local. Anybody who's interested in getting together for some DH or Slalom training I've got the cones, so send me an E-mail, or if we ever hung back in the day drop me a line and let me know you're still breathing. N-MEN UNITE! Gary Cross, where are you? Roger Folsam, can it be that he is still one of us? Out!

Longo, nup never met Jameson.
I'm in New Zealand, where roaming sheep are the biggest hazard to downhillers. I'm just kidding, I havent seen a sheep in days.
