Curt

I have a set of these but was not intending on parting with them. I can let you have some pics if you like. I may be willing to trade. I know they are rare as i have never seen another set for sale anywhere.

Hey,

I am always keen to reunite with a pair of Mark Baker Megatron Trucks.
I am from Baker's home Town and saw him skate for a few years!

Any clues? Please pass on...

Thanks for the encouragement! I will do my best. I already purchased two sets of hangers for the one unbroken plate so I will have to keep an eye out.

Unbroken Bennett Trucks
On 8/31/2008 Vintage man wrote in from United States  (66.245.nnn.nnn)

Its not that hard to find....
Its not easy, but not impossible...
Ohayou Nathan from Japan....
At least 6 sets have come up on ebay in 2008 complete
with NON BROKEN OR SPLIT Bennett Plastic baseplates....
Depending on condition of hangers, figure $100-$150 minimum
for Hijackers and Bennett Pros...
If minty a set of Bennett Pros went for $250-ish approx in April.
Sometimes the best way is to look for skateboards with the Bennett
Trucks on them... Maybe mix and match, then sell your extras!!
Finding ONLY THE PLASTIC BASEPLATES is very difficult, if not near
impossible... Again, look on ebay, ask in the Buy Sell Trade page of
this site, I have found to be the best ways... I posted before, enjoy
the attached...Oh, I mixed and matched to get these completed with unbroken
plates THIS YEAR IN 2008.... Did by using ebay and this ncdsa.com site... Did it over 6 months. WAS NOT THAT DIFFICULT... Heck these pictures were taken about 90 days ago and are not even my final version where I have NOS Bennett Pro Hangers, bushings, etc that were up few weeks ago and I also have on them the NOS re-issue bennett chrome nuts and spacers UP NOW ON EBAY!! I need to update my pictures!

The Brewer setup has Dick Brewer XL-3000 trucks with grey bushings ... also two Brewer XK-300 and two XK-400 wheels. Shown exactly as I got it... oh yeah... one red and one black Rad Pad too.

Cheers,
Ron

Set up for a Blizzard Frrestyle Board
On 8/30/2008 Dennis Allgeier wrote in from United States  (71.125.nnn.nnn)

Hey-does anyone out there have any idea as to how an Austrian Blizzard Frestyle board may have been set up? I am not sure from what time period it is from but the top deck is black, white and Green and says Freestyle on it and the bottom is all black with the name BLIZZARD in larger white letters and made in Austria in smaller white letters below that. I would appreciate any info anyone can give me on the background of this board and what trucks and wheels may have been used to set it up since it is a free Style board.
Thanks; Dennis

trucks on brewer board
On 8/30/2008 buddy rawls wrote in from United States  (205.188.nnn.nnn)

I bought a Brewer for my Bro in law a couple of years ago. I cannot determine by the photo below if those are brewer trucks or not. BUT I can tell you that the Brewers on my bro-in-law' board were original and untouched, and they had the grey rubbers that look very much like the ones on the board below in the photos. Without any differing evidence, and the fact it is a Brewer deck, I would say with about 80% surety that they are Brewer trucks. I will try to snag some photos of his Brewer trucks.

just a few pages in on one of my most vintage of magszines, pre phantom, loose bearing, but the shape of the hole pattern is right and there's a matching weight saving depression on other side of the hanger on the way to the pivot.
