By '76, you'd see a made-in-USA stamping, and then 'guarunteed' a bit later stamped on the bottom of the baseplate. Query; Are your axles fully threaded? There is nothing on the bottom of the base plate. Is this an earlier or later version. most of the ones that I have seen have Tracker written on both sides, parallel with each other. Put on minty Bennett Pro Ads with Plastic Plates... Has minty Road Rider 6 wheels... Its the deck pictured far left in the attached. I must admit, I went thru lots and lots of trails with different set-ups. I have them outfitted with blue Khiro bitches (tall cones in all 4 locations). I have the hangers adjusted so they are as near 90deg to the centerbolt as possible, and they are quite loose, but not flopping. I have them mounted on a 26" Arrowsmith Competition replica with 66mm red zigzags. they honestly feel very good. But the wheelbase is quite short, so the lean to turn ratio is tight and whippy. Also kickturns are loopy because the hanger angle is steep, and the truck tries to steer away (common with steep hanger trucks). Case in point try some kick turns or carves riding a slalom board backwards. On the other hand, I tried getting some old Phoenix working as well, and I just could not do it. I remembered my phoenix in the old days would track in all sorts of directions. They still did. there was nothing I could do. Phoenix were not identical to the Splits, the angles were a tad different. Even the new SL2002's (old now!) felt better than the Phoenix. Its funny I rode them to death long ago. or atleast for 6 months till the boards just got too wide for a 6" truck (actally 5.5"). I am a serious GW fanatic, on first name basis with Walt. Oh well, there has to be atleast one of us!     Rate post 317906 ! Gullwings really suck after youre used to new gear... Dont invest too much on those bushings....the result may let ya down ; )     Rate post 317886 ! I have been toying with trying a set of the new tracker fasttrack bushings, but I have not checked dimensions or anything. the big thing I have noticed is that the split axles and phoenix really work their best with a conical bushing.     Rate post 317826 !
