Thanks Tom for the info. I've been checking the page and I'm thinking to go to Watlington for the competition. If somebody are interesting please send me a mess.
About Wednesday, no many people went to ride but allways is nice to ride in GW and to talk about extremes sports.

Regards

Being pro is not about money or sponsorship, just fast racing. This years two huge improvers, in my opinion, are Ed and Stride. These guys are so much faster this year.
My hats off to you.

Leon, thanks for the congrats but I'm not actually Pro or Sponsored or anything, it's a running joke between me and Chris Eggers.
He posted that the Grueningen comp would be split into two, Pro's and Am's because so many people had entered. I asked if that mean't I had to go Am as I'm not sponsored, he said it was up to me, so I have entered Pro, otherwise how could I race against the Americans!!!
Anyway how are you, I'll see you at Brands.

RE: Entry Fees ETC
On 6/5/2003 lee wrote in from (195.234.nnn.nnn)

Hi All,

It makes me laugh do you know for Grueningen they are charging 20 swiss francs (10 quid) for both days racing for two types ofr races and the entry to the party is only 10 francs (5 quid).

Thats what i call a well arranged and good priced event, it makes you wonder how much money the americans make on each event!

I cant believe that if you fly to america to race you still have to pay U$ 150 for entry even if you have spent $800 on a flight, thats taking the piss if you ask me.

How can these so called skaters (they just want to make money not make races) justify where this money goes???

And the thing that also annoys me is that you all accept it or at least pay it, why is no one putting up a stink, i must say its not very british of you!

Lets start talking, negotiating we should not have to pay that kind of money for any race!

Does no one agree that if we fly to America to race from Europe that we should not have to pay that kind of fee, we should only have to pay 20 dollars or somthing its not like they dont make enough money!

Let me know what you think?

Hi ed,

I'm well. Have much to work for the event in Grueningen, but it makes me happy.

I have now a new short movie (3 minutes, ca. 5 MB) uploded on pscontest.ch
You can find the link under pscontest.ch "NEWS".

It's a movie from the Contest in Grueningen and the Tunnelrace. (You van see: Strobel, Ed, Paul Price, Martin Drayton, Sharon, Gianluca, Michael Stride vs Jani Soderhall and many more) check out the movie.

Martin Drayton: Where are you and how are you ? Do you come to grueningen on the 21/22 ?

Greetings Jadranko
