On 6/12/2003 UKSSA wrote in from (195.195.nnn.nnn)

Plan arounf 5.00pm to finish. The track does close so there will be a deadline...........and we want to go to the pub.

Anyone needing to make a flight let us know and we may be able to provide some transport to the airport.

HP No go, I'm afraid.
We're selling the house and I've got to walk some people 'round tonight; explaining that the huge cracks in the walls are a feature etc. etc.
Sorry to PaulK, in particular. If there was a way to get there at 5pm and do a few runs with you, I'd be doing it. But it's a three-line whip, if you know what I mean...

Here is our plan . . .

We're arriving in London Friday night (June 13) about 9-ish and staying at the Huttons Hotel on Belgrave near Victoria Station (44 20) 78343726 (till our early Thursday morning flight to Zurich.)

Going to Brands race with Michael Stride. Thanks Michael!!

Train to Gatwick from London Victoria.

Thursday 19 June, flight 5003
departs London Gatwick (South Terminal) at 06:25, arrives Zurich at 09:15

Hotel one night (Thursday June 19) in Zurich at
Zic Zac Rock Hotel, Phone: 01-2612181

Will train to Grueningen on Friday.

Hotel in Grueningen for Swiss Race (Fri 6-20 through Mon 6-23)
Hotel Illuster Garni

Back to Zurich on Monday morning via train for a.m. flight home.

If anyone is going in similar directions with a car and has room for two more -- we could be persuaded . . . ;))

We won't have a mobile phone so if anyone wants to hook up -- please leave message at our place of lodging. Looking forward to seeing you all soon. Will still be checking our e-mail, etc. until we leave Cali tomorrow night. Cheers!

Sorry about the e-mail problem Edwin -- not sure what's up?

Try these:
sk8kings@aol.com
champ360@aol.com
offtherailstv@aol.com

I'll be checking them all before we leave Thurs/tomorrow night (lose a day in the air) We only have one XXL tee left in stock so it has your name on it. We still have tees S/M/L/XL and decks in assorted colors.

Cheers and see you soon!!!

Richy, I tried to e-mail you but it keeps bouncing back.
I would love a 360 King Freestyle deck and some sk8 Tees, as long as they are xxl or xxxl shirts.
I'm not saying I'm fat, but I like a shirt to hang on my carcas not cling to it!
I hope you have received Micheal Strides e-mail about my offer of a ride to Gatwick Airport on saturday morning of the 21st June.
Looking forward to meeting you and your good lady.

Possible HP too.
As a "short bus" slalomer (ploughed one set of cones a very long time ago), I'd be happy to see Thurs go ahead, with perhaps more emphasis on the slow-and-useless. You gotta start somewhere...

HP Friday...
On 6/11/2003 Sam G wrote in from (193.203.nnn.nnn)

...this week, isn't it? Changed my shift accordingly after a little tete a tete with a compadre.

By the way, once did a ten foot high leap from the curb over a hedge into a field with the wing mirror being removed by a telegraph pole. In a Mini. Landed nose down, engine first so that that dashboard was forced into the driver's lap. After a little mud clearing and Sellotape work we drove out through the gate in the field to the local country pub for emergency fags and booze. The car crumbled on the return journey. I was the passenger to a crazee laydee driver (exception...). What a ride.

Ummmm....278,452.
