These guys,Revcon.com,will probabely have those bearings,they may be pricey in ABEC5 japanese bearing should do the trick,Swiss bones are skateboard bearings and would only be size 608 i don't know if the manufacturer makes other sizes,i guess they probabely.I'll check maybe you can find some thin bearings that have that o.d. and have some bigger spacers made,that might be very cool!

Black Panther Bearings are pretty good... But they arent as fast as some people say..You dont really have to lube them as much..And they are nice and smooth...But i suggest some FKD High Velocity bearings...Their much faster and lasts longer.

GMN R8 bearings for UFO 4"

John Gilmour has inspired me to take my 4" UFOs off the
shelf (literally, they're displayed on my office shelf) and
give them a run or five. Once the cutaway and drop-through
of the Dregs downhill is complete I'll be able to run them
no problem.
The UFOs have the original GMN R8 bearings. The McMaster-Carr
bearing catalog tells me the R8 dimensions, in inches, are
ID = .5; OD = 1.125; W = .3125.
Anyone know where I can find decent replacements? The
McMaster-Carr bearings are ABEC-1 but "produced to
equivalent standards as ABEC-3" or some such. I'd do
better to clean the old GMNs.
It would be sweet to find a set of Swiss Bones, no?

I just bought Lucky ABEC 7 and they are the fastest things you can bur they are also very good for agresive skateboarding i recomend them the every one.

These bearings are amazingky fast after bieng worked in on the tred
at 15km/h for a half of an hour, after these bearing are clean and
worked in, well...you know the rest but it feels good to have
a quiet smooth fast 35mph run across the sk8park.

Bones Speed Cream/PTFE

I bought a bottle of Bones Speed Cream once, it was alright. Not nearly as nice as PTFE teflon oil. I used to get that stuff at Skate City in Albuquerque, NM. It worked best and the bottle was bigger for the same price. You can probably get that in any town, but they bottled this stuff themselves, so I don't know where else to get it.

You should be able to purchase it at places like Walmart or Radio Shack. It is usually used for cleaning out electronics and other items that you don't want a residue left on. Pep Boys may carry it also...
Should cost around five bucks a can or so... HR

I have used contact cleaner many times as the initial grime cutter. The stuff works great. Word of CAUTION: Some of the products under this name are EXTREMLY flamable. Not just the flash flame type, but the rolling, building its own wind ball-o-flame type. So be extra careful!
Birchwood Casey "gun scrubber" is also a very good 1st step spray as it too dries residue free.
I prefer to follow-up with a TFE spray rather than silicon. Only thing with the teflon is that is covers so thin and has to be re-applied frequently... HR

Hey there, I was at the ace hardware and I picked up some silicone lubricant. While there, I wanted to get some compressed air in a can so I could blast my bearings dry. However, I picked up a solvent accidentally, called contact cleaner. It was in the automotive section. I thought what the hell, so I pulled out an old set of shot china reds and in a paper cup, blasted the hell out of them with the contact cleaner. all the dirt immediately flew out of the bearings. the previously seized bearings now began to roll in my fingers, with a crunchy kinda nastiness to them. blasted them again. then blasted them with the silicone lubricant. they're faster than new, with a little hiss telling me "hell yeah". I did this to my Yak Research abec 5 "blood steel" bearings, and I swear they roll for a minute with a hand push. god bless contact cleaner

i work at a roller rink and i am faster with abec 7's that with bones swiss......abec 7's do not cost alot and they are just as good or better than bones....i have not met one person who has come to that roller rink that has beat me in a race...

I like fast bearings.
Bearings that accelerate quickly, and carry momentum, are prime tools for me. I have found, that when I buy bearings, they are all a little different for the first few months you ride them, some faster, some carry momentum, some just suck. After they get older, they just all just suck. Some do last longer that others though. I just use a little secret to clean them, and I can have 6 year old bearings running with brand new ones. I have 6 year old, abec 3, off-brand german bearings that I found laying in a friend's garage(he used them for hockey), and I have BSB abec 7, swiss speed bearings, that are two years old. The germans are just as fast now. The secret is the type of oil you use, and the amount. I'm gonna get some wal-mart wonders, and I bet I'll be just as fast as I was with the BSB's. Oh yeah, and when I say fast, I mean they perform very well under 50-60mph speeds.

I've tryed almost all the bearings out there.
One day I purchaced a set of 16 bauer abec 1(yes 1),
and they out accelerate my abec 5 8 balls with the same
setup.THANKS BAUER.......P.S.try there 5s sick fast
and way durable.
