No, but my wife points to it and says "I didn't marry THAT".
Maybe I should point to her butt ...

We would have compromised that morning, if need be. In fact, I think we did. But no shirts or other garments were lost/stolen/damaged in our efforts. Though I did get Joe Bruiser's stuff all wet slinging bucketfulls up & over.

I was using a 60" long handled (15/16" dia), 30" wide broom with 3" tampico bristles. All wood for that oldschool look & feel.
Tampico bristles probably weren't the best choice for that smooth skatelite surface. They're best used on semi-smooth/rough concrete. A much better selection would have been 2 3/4" frayed polypropylene bristles with a clamp style brace for reinforcement.

York, PA Skatepark Design Meeting

I am inviting you all to the first York Public/Skater/Design meeting for our first concrete skatepark on Wednesday, September 27th @ 7pm. This will take place (upstairs) at the York City Ice Arena, 941 Vander Avenue, York, PA, 17403, (717) 843 - 3959. I asked the skatepark committee if it was okay to invite out-of-towners to this and they said "cool" ! SITE Design Group is designing the park (that will be free and open to the public) and though they are awesome they don't just design whatever, but rather take input from the design meeting audiences and that's why it is critical and all-important that you come prepared to raise your hand and let them know what you will be willing to travel for. I would really appreciate it ! Eric B. http://www.reidmenzermemorialskatepark.org/Park_Design.html

We have an upcoming skatepark benefit on September 16th and would really appreciate skaters far and wide to rally around this ! Bank, Bowl, and Street are planned for this skatepark and it is definitely "a go", but just needs the support and funding to make this happen ! ...

... Thanks !

stubbs,
ya it's slightly larger but after riding the new 8ply old school it seems a bit lighter. loving the product, as a matter of fact I've been known to put boards into the ground but the new boards coming from afroman haven't been snapped yet. BIG WHEELS KEEP ON TURNING!!!!

Has anyone tried Siesmics on a pool board? I've used them for longboarding, and am putting together a new pool rig, and was pondering how those would be. If you've tried them, let me know what your thoughts were? And spring recommendations?
