Hey Alex
It was fun meeting you and getting to see you skate. I think it's cool that you wasted no time hunting down the scene in this state. Beauty of it is, you haven't even glimpsed the scene yet. That was just a whim... although, an evening slalom club one night every few weeks, different courses... could become scenic...
Anyway, you did see a couple of the best this state has to offer and there are many more where they came from.
I know you're not supposed to celebrate this kinda thing, especially in this venue, but I really like the way you get up after a slam. Let's me know you've got a passion for the sport, yer tough, you understand the circumstance, yer not afraid to go for something new... all that kinda stuff... It will be really cool to see you out at all the spots and in the competitions.
Thanks for coming out to ride with us. Any time, bro... And check back here often. There's always someone planning something or another.
Enjoy,
MJ

Mark, Morris is basically upper Bear ditch. The kinky section runs from Juan Tabo to Morris, right next to TVI, just north of Montgomery. The smoother section continues from Morris to Eubank. The best place to park is next to the city park, on the other side of the ditch from TVI.
Grinmaser, Yup, crop circles form all over the world, including the USA, Canada, and Mexico, not to mention everywhere else, both man-made and the real-deal. Not only that, but there are also sand-circles and snow-circles. Earth energy, space brothers, or elaborate hoaxes? YOU DECIDE! I'd be interested in hearing your crop circle story, e-mail it to me if you get the chance.

Don't know that I've skated it though. Where's the top?
Cibola ditch is pretty doggone good. Right as you enter town around the big curve in 528 that leads to Intel. South side of curve, along apartment buildings at top of hill. Very, very fast. Bring something turny.
In Paradise Hills there are a few goodies as well.
In Bernalillo there is a new(ish) ditch, have yet to name it, but there are pictures at ditches are deadly. It's grated, but not too bad, and long.
There is a brand new ditch right on Miller's property in RR. It's kinda reminiscent of the Bear. We've set up a banked slalom in it. Might hold a race there in the future.

K-Lee,
Around 9am. I'm planning on hitting the Mark & Chris show tomorrow after the kids swim meet, around 11-12. Didn't I hear there was some ditch action in Rizzo Ratzo as well?

Paul, I adjusted the file size of the bigger pics, they should be less problematic now.
Are you still planning on skating at Los Altos on Sunday? What time? I've still got those wheels for ya.

Can't get the pix to load. I used to skate that one a lot last year, below Morris it's a sweet ride, and above the tranny is like a mini version of the Bear.

Man, if you could do that it would be great. The "timing" system, as it is, is stupendously primitive.
Another consideration. The way we are running the race allows skaters to show up well after the start time and still get a run or two in. So if you're commited until 12 or a little later, no sweat. Show up, check in, get a time.
There will be a hard cutoff time though, so get there early if you can. I'm just mentioning this for those with morning softball and the like.

George,
If it's not too much trouble, you may as well bring it. I know Mark has a plan in mind to get the timing done, but yours may work better.
Thanks a lot
