Kenny- it as been an amazing snow year in Aspen. Click here for link
Most snow in 30 years. I want to start a rivalry of intrawest vs Aspen Ski co, Vs Vail resorts. I figure you and I could represent Aspen in slalom skateboarding.
BTW- I asked about your cabin...It's totally covered in snow- like roof collapse city..
Want to rent it to me? hint hint?
I have no idea where it is..(out back of Aspen Mt right?). but met a funny woman who knows you.

hey kenny what's up? just checked back to your page and read the stuff about the blizzard. dang... i love blizzards.only experienced one in my life 10 yeras ago and yes... i was out there in my car driving around that was in austria.that's the true spirit man... when everybody tells you to stay at home you go out there with your car and you have some fun.
hey... we got a race coming up here. there is a ramp and i just decided to call it the kenny mollica memorial ramp.
its 10 foot high with a 50% slope this baby refers to your rad approach i think. we built it to scare people and we are honest in admitiing that we really enjoy doing this. a big "HELLO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" from all the guys here in germany goes to"DA MAN"

Thanks for the info. I saw that Mike Hirsch at socalskateshop.com has about 5 of the Indian Chief in stock. It's the first time that I've seen them available.

Brandon,
I am 197 lbs. and have been for the past few years. the Ditch Killer and Indian Chief both give some flex. I like it. I set up a Sector 9 last year (44") but it was too stiff.
I just bought two Ditch Killers from Buddy Carr at Tailtap.com. Chicken does not answer or return calls. My sponsors have blown me off since I have been a gimp. One even took back stuff he sent me after I shattered my heel.
Check out Tailtap.com
I have been trying to get some Indian Chief boards since the last Indian School, but no luck. Sorry I couldn't be more help. See you there.

Hi Kenny, this is Brandon, Kaylee's neighbor and bud. I skated with you last year when you came down prior to the IS race. Anyway, I'm looking for a good solid (stiff) banked slalom deck. I know you were riding the Indian Chief, and was wondering if you can tell me anything about it? Constuction? Plys? Would it be pretty stiff for a 185lb guy? Thanks, and hope to skate with you again soon.

More than 20 inches of snow fell from Friday through Saturday at Columbus, eclipsing the city's previous record of 15.3 inches set in February 1910, the National Weather Service said.
Kenny, you're right that winter weather has changed in the eastern USA. When I was a kid growing up in the DC area in the 1970s, heavy snows would routinely cover the hilly streets in our suburban neighborhood. When it got packed down -- but before the sand truck came -- kids would break out their Flexible Flyer sleds and freakin' tear down the icy streets. It was an epic time.. some of the best memories of my childhood.
Nowadays that kind of snow doesn't happen any more and kids of today living in my old neighborhood have never even seen such a sled.

Cat, We went to the other Mexican restaurant - La Montana's. Yes, we had Margs.
Today is the "Blizzard of 2008". Our first real Blizzard since 1978 or 1979. The kids will remember this one and say "it never snows like when we were kids". I hear people say that all the time, but all they are remembering is "their" Blizzard.
Its been fun. Level 3 snow emergency, with only official cars on the road. Thats why I drove to my office. Ethan is in a rail and big air contest today at Mad River Mountain, and I may get up their to check him out. Steamboat Rules. I started my appraisal career there in 1991.
These were taken just now.

Just back Geo. Two days of sun, one of 12" new snow. It was epic. Foot hurt like a mother X#@$$^&, but it was worth it. To go 35 mph again on my feet. Its been too long. I am trying to get Ethan to go to Colorado Mountain College in the Boat.

I just figured out how to post up video on Youtube. There is a video called "Ryder's first day snowboarding 3 years old".
I cant find it yet, but I just posted it up a few minutes ago. Its up on "my account" on Youtube. How long does it take until everyone can see it?
Check it out and let me know if you can view it on Youtube.

Thanks everyone. It was great. Dinner, Comedy club, you know what, snowboarding all day Saturday and hangin' in on Sunday.
Here was my best gift. Ryder did not want to ski at all!!!! Then he said he wanted to go SNOWBOARDING. I was like, well OK. Did not think it would work out, but he loved it. I will try to post up on Youtube. Have no idea how to do it, but it cannot be too hard.
Late to an appointment.
