Hi there im a 22 year old female from just outside london and was wondering if there are any other female longboarders out there? It would be cool to find some females to go skating with.

Another great session last night.
Sam "turned" up with his new Radikal trucks, very smooth and turny. Great trucks for a first timer although very, very expensive.

Turner etc.
On 8/14/2003 PaulW wrote in from (194.223.nnn.nnn)

Michael... on the old slalomskate.com website, you used to have a link to some pages of information about Turner decks.
Have you got a link for those off the Octane site? I'm looking for advice/tips on cleaning and restoration of old boards.
TIA, Paul

Annie was telling me all about your spit bubbles at Hove last week. It used to be a 'skill' of mine but I didn't appear to have the right kind of spit at the time and I hadn't practiced for about 25 years...

Ugh
On 8/13/2003 PaulW wrote in from (194.223.nnn.nnn)

If you were to fall off your board - for maximum embarrassment - it would have to be while noodling along in front of Buckingham Palace. Ugh. A zillion camcorders caught me as I lost my footing while pushing the board over some cobbles.
Expect to see me on "You've been framed" (ITV regions) or "when skategeezers wipe" (ExtrameDiscoverySharks&Lightning channel).
Ow.
It's this sodding short wheelbase that's to blame...

Jacks trip
On 8/13/2003 Michael wrote in from (195.92.nnn.nnn)

If your following Jacks trek across America for Lowes, then BBC Radio 5 live will be broadcasting an interview with him at 8.30 CST tonight, which is I think 6 hours behind (and a coupla years) so I make it 2.30 our time in the morning.
Dont worry, if you go to BBC.com you can listen to the archive next day. Simple!
