Nice one stretch, good to see you are doing the decent thing regarding sorting out skating facilities in your area.
See if you can push them toward a cheeky little peanut bowl.
Also I will be on leave from Iraq as of the 18th Sept for one week and planning a Saturday night sesh or Sunday pm sesh at Epic if you are interested. I am still not sure of the flight times out of Basra yet to know exactly when I will be flying, but rest assured I will be there. I would go every night but my wife wants to see me some time that week aswell.
Poolhog and Ratboy, it would be great to see you if you can make it also
Thought for the day
Always be sincere, even if you dont mean it

Everyone should try to make it to Antibes. I am injuryed but would have gone. Many I know are going to Morro bay, but Antibes if great too. I'll talk to all at Brands on Sunday.
Frank Wheeler has e-mailed me and sayes he is in contact with Phil, Lets hope thhey come to Brands.
Brands timetable
10.am start -no practice until timing equipment is in place.
11.00 H2H qualifying
1.00 - 2.30 Giant slalom
3.00 - 5.00 H2H the number of racers will depend on time. If we keep to schedule all should be able to race.
Keep to the time 10% cone rule, 0.2 on H2H and 0.4 on giant penalties

Weather looks promising - I'm still planning to be at HP between 1 and 2 tomorow.
Tristan - if you see this before coming down, bring a blank VHS tape along and I'll transfer the video footage from the week at the chalet onto it, ready for the next time I see you.
If anyone's interested I'm planning to mark out a cyber-slalom course to get some pumping practice in. I have enough cones for 1 run - if you want to do offset or anything else, bring more cones!

If anyone is bored tomorrow morning... Me, my kids and Ross and his kids are going to Southsea for the 10am-1pm session. When we last went a few months back the place was fairly quiet and we pretty much had the concrete to ourselves. It's rough, not Watlington rough but don't bother with your 100a wheels.

Tristan - excellent. Anna's coming too (she's determined to learn to love slalom for the sake of her boarding), and I'll have my Fat Boy with me so you can ride that. If it's fine I'm sure there'll be others with a fair selection of boards you can have a go on too. See you there. I'm going to head down between 1 and 2pm.
