Lap dancer cone marshalls will liven this up a little. I am sure this would attract more members, well worth the expense.

SARNED AS A BLEEDIN PARNED, ME OL' MUCKAAAA!!!!!!!! and 7 seconds for fast 'n furious Pistol packin' mamas, 9 secs for those over 10 stone/ 40 years; slap m'thigh!
Birmingham? Well, to the extent of sounding like a sordid middle-aged Conservative I'd quite like to see some correctly educated cone-dollies with Agent Provacateur/ Guinness sponsorship. And chips.

Didnt he get more than 1 title? so we could really add some penalties. I think beards should count for a basic 10 seconds whatever the course. Posh accents, lets say 5.

Anyone with a World Title will have THEIR cone penalties doubled for the next year. That'll teach 'em.

Heres a question, What can we do at Epic to make the slalom even more fun next time? I'm thinking we should get the hand pulls working, and temporary fencing where the main ramps start? Anything else?
(A one second penalty for Edwin might be an idea...)

Anyone with any queries about where my party is on Saturday please mail me. My phone at home is broken and BT say they can not fix it until Friday. So this leaves me incommunicardo. Calls are diverted to Paula mobile, which eats batteries, so leave a message if you can not get through.
Basically get a train from London Bridge, Waterloo East, or Cahring Cross to TONBRIDGE, not Tunbridge Wells.
See you there
Chris
Frank 240V would be best. I will mail you later.

I work for the Tate and can confirm the total smoothnes of the Turbine Hall slope. Enquires could be made.
I worked at Tate Modern before it opened and had any art in. Never any chance of getting a board past security but many pallet trucks have been ridden on its inviting slope. They do suffer from speed wobble though.

Check out the Turbine Hall at the Tate Modern - a big, wide, smooth downhill slope.
They held some cheesy AOR gig there recently, and a vigorous slalom comp has to beat that..?
We might have to go nekkid but for pads and vermillion body paint, call ourselves a performance piece, but I bet they'd go for it. Hell, we could even get Arts Council funding for the UKSSA's generator.
Oh BTW and completely unrelated to all that, Edmund Scientific sell a radar speed gun for $99. Thought you leather-clad gravity junkies might be interested.
