Hey Folks!
Dropped posters off at 3 of the 6-sk8 shops. They all seemed pretty excited to try and help. Especially when I added some of the local perks.
Don't worry about lodging just let me know what you would like. I don't think there is anything going on that weekend that would find us lacking accommodations. If the Club is unavailable, I will be looking to get a deal on rooms as a Sponsorship Deal for you.
The shops we're quite excited at the prospects of New and increased Longboard sales let alone the potential Slalom market. There are 4 more in town for me to hit tomorow.

Hey Rob, Civ, Jay, Claude and Mia. Just thought I would let you know that I`m in for sure, my ex-wife has confirmed. So T.O. guys we`ll have to figure out when we want to leave on Friday, maybe early afternoon so Jay can go to class and we can still get there by early evening. We`ll also have to figure out who`s driving and where we`re staying? We`ll sort all that out, just wanted to let you know that I`m in! Looking forward to it, Keith

hi Ian, Thanks so much for the offer. Although i think i will be taking my car because it will probably be easier for me.(actually the truth is that im just too lazy take all my gear out of my trunk...)So it will be Steph and myself in my car and we as well have 3 seats left. Also, do you know around what time you plan to leave montreal that friday? im just trying to get an idea of when i should leave.

Pierre and Mia,
I'm going to drive the station wagon up. Jim might be going to the race in San Diego instead, but he's not sure. I am going to be bringing my daughter so there will be one kid seat in the car. Otherwise, room for three passengers.

Thanks to 3Dm we will have some red and White cones to go along with Orange ones.
Ed from Pleasye tools liked pirre's Poster so much he asked If we would like some event stickers as momento's. Thak you so much Ed for support of me over the years and now this little (and growing) Gathering.
Don't forget to send me your thoughts on some of the venues and what yuou would like to run.
Tomorow, I start trying to pull it all together. If anyone needs anything or has any special requests or needs let me know.
Rob, I hope your feeling better. The rest of take care we'll see you in a few weeks. I will have location and venue maps for everyone no worries.
If you do a mapquest to my home address to those i e-mailed yesterday you'll will see how easy it is to get to my place.
From - Tor - 416 North to Hunt Club West, Turn Left (heading East). As your driving towards my house you will pass Option #2 on your left once you cross Greenbank Road (runs North/South) about 5 miles then right, into my driveway.

Hey Mia, i emailed you earlier but anyway, i really want to slalom with you and Stef, let's go to parc lafontaine tomorrow (saturday) 13:30. I'll setup 2 diffrent courses: an hybrid and a straight tight.
There will be other montrealer that will come to Ottawa, Daniel and Nocolas, maybe JimZ and IanC if they decide not to go to the Barret Junction downhill race.
Mia, we will talk tomorrow about sharing rides to Ottawa. Ciao!

Okay the Tv shoot kind of got rained out but there will be a short blurb regarding some of my key issues here in Ottawa.
Slalom Gathering, Indoor skatepark and kids. Now that, that it out of the way I can focus on the Gathering and my sk8 lessons and finding a location to put the indoor park,LOL.
Anyhow monday I will find out about Lodging at the B & G's. I will also start to firm up some locations for us to ride. there are some nice spot but not generally anything big and fast. Yuor going to have to work to be fast through the course. LOL.
It is easy to get to my place from either To or Mtl ask Mia how easy. Well it's even easier from the West if you can believe it.
Did you guys in Toronto contact Karen Hegmman? I'm sure she will want to break in that new Roe. Keith don't rush into a board. I just set-up six. Just bring some bushing if you got some spares.

hey Keith, Rob and Civ, i can leave whenever perferably after lunch (i have aclass in the morning that i really should attend, its a test so i would have to charm my proffessor pretty hard to get out of it). Civ if you don't mind driving that would be wicked (my car is not the most releiable and not the most spacious). Keith i am ordering stuff from bozi it should be being shipped come next wend. (i goota wait for the gumballs to get to jeff) so if you want to get jeff to throw some of your stuff in their we can split the shipping (let me know what you think). But im super excited to skate. Just let me know what the plans are. Jay

Hey Keith and everyone, It's good to hear that you might be able to go, i hope everything works out and that we'll be seeing you in ottawa in a few weeks. So Steph and I plan to go on friday aswell, we'll hopefully be leaving here in the afternoon after my class is over, or we'll be leaving after dinner, but its nothing for us since we only have a 2 hour drive from montreal. As for Pierre, well i dont know if he is coming with steph and i or has his own car, where is he??. (So PIERRE if you are reading this email me then let me know, also I think i maybe saw u skating near my place, i would have said hi but you were going so fast lol., and do u wanna skate this weekend if the weather isnt to bad?) Steph and I havent yet decided about accomodations, we figured we'd just do whatever you guys were doing. So we are easy either way, so if you guys decide to book something somewhere then let us know, and we'll probably do the same. As for the Hills in Ottawa, i know there are some fun areas, i havent been on anything too crazy out there cause well im not nearly as brave or as good as you guys. But claude will probably know some areas. I'm also way excited about this, and i'm trying to get my parents to come either on saturday or on sunday to see or maybe even try! They haven't seen me skate before so i really want them to come have a look. well, thats all folks, hope everyone has a good weekend!
mia
And if there is anyone else from montreal or the surrounding areas thats reading this post and wants to come slalom that weekend but has no means of getting there, then gimme a shout.

Hey Mike, Glad we`re on the same page.......can you leave in the afternoon or do you have to wait till night? I can leave earlier which I think is preferable......yeah? I don`t mind driving either except I only have a sedan..........Volvo`s are roomy but it still only has a trunk. If that`s all we`ve got though......no problem! Does any of us drive a van or wagon? I think we should try and give Rob a break as he`s done these trips alot more than the rest of us I think, at least me anyway. We`ll have to figure out accommodations..........we can either take Claude up on his generous offer or spend a few bucks on a couple of suites or something, probably my preference but I`ll fit in with you guys. It looks good for me so I`m looking forward to it. Maybe I can even get a slalom deck by then. We gotta bring our long boards aswel as I`m sure Mia and Claude know some good hills in the area. Maybe we can even ride without cops.......what a concept! Cheers, Keith
