call me saturday around 11 or so, 905-627-4496. I have a course already set and marked for tomorrow and its the best surface you will have ever skated on. 90+ duro wheels will GRIP. Pack a bag with everything you need, we have to park a distance from the course. hOpe to hear from you tomorrow morning.

Jay and Rob, lets ride tomorrow aroung noon. I have to work late tonight and dot want to be up at the crack of dawn. I know a sweet spot downtown Hamilton with purfect pavement and no traffic. Is this ok with you guys...mail me to confirm, I will be at work for most of the day. We can meet at my place and go from there.

Doug Dupin of Migration Longboards out of D.C. is sending us a board and Ian from Kebbek is also donating a board and some prizes.
Let's not forget about Ed and the Event stickers that are on the way.
I just received 200 new Slalom Cones from 3DM. I finished the repairs and re-stickered many of my Orange ones. Thanks to Mary-Beth, Daniel and Gabriel (who are all getting a little better at running AROUND these things.

So folks here's a question for you. Do you think we should register this on the Contest Calendar (rule 101 applies)?
We may be able to get 20 or more to register. It's a Grass Roots Slalom Event!
I can forward information pertaining to the event as it comes in but my graphics and display skills are not a strong point let alone posting it?

For all you toronto and area longboarders/street lugers, on October 19th we are having a meet in Burlington. THERE WILL BE A FILM CREW THERE FROM CBC. I have arranged with a CBC television show rep. to have them film us for a segment for their show.
This should be a lot of fun and a great meet.

Civ, i'm down call me with the info. Hey my stuff is on the way from Bozi, can't wait (then you can have your stuff back). Keith sucks you can't make it out but hopfully next time. If anyone wants to come down to St. Catharines for a skate (its where i am during the week for school) that would be rad, theirs a bike path right down the side of the canal, would make for a wicked course.

Hey guys........would love to join you however I`ve got my kids this wknd aswell as a bunch of family stuff planned.
The weather supposed to be nice so we`re taking my boat out for what will probably be the last cruise of the season.
I think Tom has got something planned for next wknd (the 19th) which I should be able to make.
If I don`t see you guys then..........for sure on the 24th - 26th. Hope you have a blast on Saturday.

Jay, lets ride some cones on Saturday afternoon, I have a great idea for promoting slalom. Its the cycling Worlds here in Hamilton right now. We need to set a course on a side street in view of the course and get some spectators. Sound good?

I know Lisa. I figured it would be tough your crew with back to back weekends in West Virginia and Ottawa.
I was hoping to return to West Virginia for some dryland racing but I started a fall learn to Sk8 program. So I'm out of that one as well.
This started as a practice weekend and some of the loacl response from shops has been great. They are feeling the hurt from the kickflipper market just as much as the industry, probably more.
Anyhow you have a great time. Dave G throws a great race and you should have a good time. You never know we may do something a little later somewhere if the weather holds off.
