Mia, I am available and I think MDL is also. The forcast may not agree so keep checking it out.

Pierre, I need you to e-mail me the access code so I can update the Contest Calender. My puter crashed and this is a borrowed one.

MBL and I received quite a surprise about one of the venues today. Fast, freshly paved, and likely no more then 20 cones TS to end the day. Oh yes and it's a nice hill running down to a praking lot. A right hand turn that I will test to see where we should safely place the last cone in order to make a safe turn if you don't foot brake. this will be a showcase event. We may even have time to run a nice GS on this 2 lane road within the park.

More info to follow.

We have approval for both requested sites. They are just making sure that there are no Major events scheduled by the sk8park/hockey rink for the one venue.

Then it will be a decision on which one on which day. One is for Duals and the other will be busy and could host as many as 3 single lanes along the path. Unless you guys are into a 2 or 300 cones runs. LOL. Be careful what you wish for I haven't arranged for any massages.

No charge for permits either.

Hey Claude:

I hold all of the lifeguarding qualifications (Bronze, Bronze Cross, etc), but they are as old as I am.

If it works with the facility - I will be the lifeguard.

Thanks

The Gymnasium should be confirmed by the end of the week. There shouldn’t be a problem. We will have use of the Kitchen as well as most of the facility. I'm not sure about the swimming pool; we may need someone that has the lifeguard training. Sorry I could finish that one in time.

As far as a couple of locations I was hopping for, I should find out whether or not I'll be given the permits or not. I'm hoping this will be a joint venture and the fees will be waived. It is kind of the same thing with the lodging for the weekend.

I will be getting everything sorted and confirmed by the end of the week. We have acquired some stuff for 50 people for 2 days. Thanks to MBL.

The preparation continues and the 20th or so will firm everything up. Then we do the press release. I will send everyone registered a list of things I will be short so if you have any of these items and bring shout any problems it would be appreciated.

Leo your welcome here anytime, Bud!

C- Ya Soon!

PS- Luckily there will be some tight, loose and assorted here to run, LOL.

Ottawa Preps...
On 10/13/2003 Ian wrote in from (67.69.nnn.nnn)

Leo, escribas en castellano!! You could always move to Montreal and write en français sur la site canadienne!

I thought Duane was going to Barrett as well? does that mean he'll be coming to Ottawa now?

Did you arrange the gymnasium Claude? Pierre mentioned something about that last night, we ran some cones in a bit of drizzle. He kept tightening em up so he could get going faster and I kept widening them to see him four wheel slide on the wet alley. Good runs everyone. Duane was making the course on a board that was 45 inches or something crazy.

Sorry I didn't check my e-mails Cnuck, once my daughter gets here on friday morning I'm too busy for internet. Took her to the Laurentians to see the leaves changing.
