MBL- says "we'll see....if he survives camp..."
I say NOPE! The ankle is still quite tender and I'm sure it will be tough just doing the Slalom. The downhill will be like a movie, you sit and watch!
Maybe some liquid refreshments as well.
Looking forward to watching you guys go!

Hey congratulations to Doug Dupin and his wife! What's the baby's name?
>Karen, yes we will have a friendly slalom race the saturday (august 7) prior to Top Challenge at the Big O. The hill a a little steep but we can have a fun (not too tight) course there. Anthony, i think you started slaloming recently so bring a slalom setup too!
Michael and Aki, go to our forum, we have a section to help racers find a place to stay: http://www.topchallenge.ca/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=10&sid=50c6e328f0f579a96735614380ac4b77

Good luck to my Canadian brothers in NY this weekend. I won't be there as it's my sons 15th birthday and Doug won't be there because his wife just had another baby today at 1:30pm.
I will be in Montreal though. Wouldn't want to miss that one. And no rain this year, OK??

Hi everyone
Just wondering if there will be any "slaloming" during the Top Challenge weekend (I don't plan to slalom down Mount Royal:) - but was wondering if there were people getting together sometime to race cones, whether there's a formal slalom race, etc.)
Let me know...thanks! Karen.

Brianna & I were running cones at 7:30 this morning at our favorite spot right near the OSP (before all the campers arrived) when the NCC patrol came by and told us they had a complaint from a cyclist. It was the cyclist without the bell who almost hit me from behind, actually, and bells on bikes are required by law. I asked them for an official complaint in writing so I can start a letter writing campaign. They called a while later to explain that the cones are a hazard on the path and the path is meant for cyclists and pedestrians. I just want it in writing....

Aki, keep us informed we will find you a spot. When do you arrive? Pierre is planning slalom on Saturday? If you are here earlier you can come to Ottawa.
Civ may be here before hand. Only if him and Shasta can tear themselves apart :) (temporarily).
