I have a 40" pintail with 70mm wheels on 8.5" Exkate trucks. I can seem to keep the wheel nuts tight when I start carving. They slowly loosen up and I'll soon have about 1/8" moved on the axel. Best-Of Ncdsa (0)   Informative (0)   Abuse(0)   Flag Moderators (0) speed scrubbin On 8/2/2006 snoball wrote in from (70.127.nnn.nnn) Matt, buy or make some slide gloves...when you get going quick, drop into a squat and use your trailing hand to scrub the speed of. applying the plastic puck to the street surface..how much pressure you apply will determine how fast you slow down...if it doesn't work, you don't have as far to fall and at least the slide gloves will keep your wrists ffrom breakin lol...if you're standing, you can 'air break' some of it off...imitate a crucifixion pose...turn your torso fully face forward, arms outstretched and let the wind catch on your t-shirt or jacket...that sometimes has a very minimal affect though if you're going fast....so back to the "squat n drag" method...     Rate post 243724 ! It's a great board and I've had tons of fun on it but, the paint chips off extremly easly(running your finger nails over it will cause it to chip.) The guy at the skateshop said the paint should only come off if I've left it outside in the rain but I never have. So all the young guys that hang out at the Barber/Skateboard shop look at me as an old school rider. I use 70mm & 66mm with risers. The diameter is 70 mm. You have to mount the trucks and the wheel and check the clearance between wheel and deck with full tilt angle. If there is no space, you need risers.
