We have set it for May this year, Cinco de Mayo!!!!!! the 5th and 6th and maybe 7th? 5th and 6th for sure, with slalom in my FAVORITE spot, shaded park on the water, restaurants and BARS in skating distance down the boat docks... IT's GOING to be KILLER!!! So planning a trip to Cali just hasn't happened yet. Also, my new job is giving me Fat Tuesday off to go to Mardi Gras (I've never been!) so I've been planning, basically a bunch of debauchery and drunkeness in 2006 and SKATEBOARDING!!!! , but not to leave out a trip to California!!! On 12/6/2005 isabelle wrote in from United States  (68.7.nnn.nnn) we skate (slalom and slide) legoland every sunday and will be starting downhill diva clinics on a monthly basis in SD starting feb, 2006. there are also poway pump station grass roots events coming up dec. 17 and jan. 16(?), 2006 that will accomidate novices as well as pros. hopefully gravityboard will put on another slidefest sooner than later. last saturday was INSANE! hope that helped     Rate post 223265 ! Dates: Saturday December 17, 2005 and Saturday January 21, 2006 Format: 10am AM ONLY hybrid. (Mens and Womens) 9am Practice. 2 pm PRO-AM GS. (4 women for a division) 1 pm Practice. Fee: AM race only: $0000. That's free. Come out and race. PRO-AM GS: $20. At least 75% will go into a prize purse. Break the wintertime blues with some blue San Diego skies. The Amateur race will be fun for racers of ALL abilities and geared to the novice racer. We will have a women's division with separate prizes.
