Women at the Pumpstation: 3 divisions: Novice-8am each day-easy course. B-10am each day-The GS will be from about halfway up. It's enough speed for most people. The tight will qualify on the regular big-kid course, then pool in with the other B riders. A-GS from way up. The course is FUN. Lots of turns. Not the fastest Pumpstation course we've had, but definitely the longest.
The B and A will ride with guys of the same skill level, then they will pull us out for awards. Prize money based on our pool size, so GET THERE.

Re, the Sharon pic...you know, if you look at the home page, there's PLENTY of room for a skater chick on one side and a skater boi on the other...and that would be cool..
Women in skateboarding fight for every inch of recognition they can get. I loved that Adam and crew had put Sharon up there, and sad to see her gone. But there are tons of other skate chicks who could be put up there too.

I bought my wife a longboard a few weeks ago and she would really wants to learn to ride it, but is a little fearful. I'm looking for someone to give her a few lessons and get her riding. I've been taking out her board and have been absolutely loving it. Loving it so much I just bought my own... now it's time to get her skating so we can ride together.

Wow!,
What a weekend. The womens class is stepping up a notch for sure. I had a blast. I didn't commit as much this year to skating due to "Life" but this weekend re-reminded me why I ride. The people! I just want to thank Judi, Judy, Cat, Lynn, Claire and Isa for all the support and encouragement. It's so cool to have your competitors hoot'n for ya on the side lines! Judy, it was so nice to meet you and I can't wait to ride with you at a race. Again, thanks ladies for re-reminding me why I started skating to begin with.
Catch at the next race!

Congratulations to Judi, Lynn, Cat, Trish and all the young girl guns who are coming out to race. I can't wait to join you. Spokane is hosting it's first event on September 15-16. We're going to really try and get more moms, wives, girlfriends out and boost the newcomers to this sport.
Thanks for all the positive feedback for SheSkates.com. Things are coming together nicely. Thanks also for being such great role models for all of us older gals and the younger generation coming up.
Have a great weekend. Judy Harris

Judy,
It is cool with me. Glad to see you will be coming out to Colorado. Sounds like a great idea. Keep me posted. Missing more women like Sharon, Terry, Lauren, Keli, Isabelle on the scene.
The more the merrier.

Hey, this is a shout out to Cat, Lynn, and Judi - I'm starting up a new women's website called SheSkates.com. I'm within just a couple of weeks of launching website, artist has done good creative. It's just simply got a mission to make it easier for more women to get information about skating, events, training, camps, etc. No retail unless we make some t-shirts. But, I just needed to know if it was okay if I used a couple of photos of you gals to show the other gals out there that girls are racing and playing all over the world. Let me know. Thanks much. See you guys in Colorado next week. Judy Harris
