hey chris,
150s should be fine, although go wide and low if you want max stability in tech slides like multiple rotations

Chris,

The 33" deck would be better for you. You and Sergio are close in height. He prefers the 33" over the 36" deck. His new model will be 33": I think.

33 inch or 36 inch
On 1/3/2006 Chris wrote in from United States  (71.226.nnn.nnn)

im about 5 foot 8 inches and about 150lbs i was wondering if i should go with the new 36" team deck or the 33" pool deck by gravity like the one sergio uses. i also was wondering if i should go with a 150mm truck or something a little longer like 179mm. im a little confused and would love some good advice.

gravity gloves?
On 12/30/2005 herbn wrote in from United States  (205.188.nnn.nnn)

i saw them listed in a distributors cataloge, i tryed to order them right away but they were out of stock with "no idea" on restock. Are they really available? If gravity sells them mostly direct and sells a few as teasers to ditributors i guess i'll never see em i really can't go direct for every little special item.

Yo. I live in Santa Barbara Cali, and I'm looking for some good skate spots. So far I have found: the park, myamesa, jibralter rd, mission ridge rd. Ive heard rumors of an abandoned pool up on the riviera but just plain cant find it. Please e-mail me if you know of any skate spots in SB or its surrounding areas. Thanks!!!

Glad you found a copy Fab! Scared for life would be a pretty funny title for a book on skating! I especially enjoyed the New York section. Garbage Juice, Yuck!

Eddie,

Don't keep sliding without slider gloves! Everything will get easier when you have them. Also it can be hazardous to grab rail stink-bug style.
