Say J. Byrd, Find the Surfhouse (i think it's on Ella St.) or E-Z 7 (a legendary ditch) and use your best social skills. I highly recommend at least one Gravity deck in your quiver and see if u can find Mike $$$. Do some homework on Boneless One and it'll be alot easier for you.

I live in Houston, Texas. I don't want to sound desperate but I am been looking for other longboarders in the area that belong to a group or might want to start a group of boarders that enjoy garage sessions or other type of runs in a rather flat city. If you are interested or know of any good runs down here please email me at john_spurlock@sbcglobal.net
Thanks, jay byrd

Yo, Amos Not the pre-fab but, the concrete wonder on the other side of town. Having skated it and am already known "as the guy who hit the flat" that big bowl is burly. I had a backside air go bad on me. I am glad i had on all my pads including helmet. I have talents other than falling gracefully by the way. I don't pick on stoners and if they're slow enough pretend they're slalom cones. It works for me as long as no one has a munchie attack or sudden energy boost.

There is a park in Gwinnett County call Little Mulberry Park in Dacula, just south of Hamilton Mill. I cruised a little over a 1/4 mile no obstruction, excellent scenery and its legal. Look up county parks in Gwinnett County for more info. It is sweet.

the park is the stoner hangout, mostly. i'm a purist - downhill only. I've seen that place, but i wouldn't have called it "rad" or anything. gimme a shout out when you get here.

Hey Amos, I guess i wasn't clear. I live in San Antonio and my parents live in Angelo. I plan to be in the area in the near future. Maybe we can sesh then. It would seem you all have a park about to open as well. Some of the guys i skate with have already dubbed it the raddest in the state. Not to cause a ruckus that's their opinion, not mine.

David, You've got it worse than a-mose in San Angelo. That area put the "f" in flat. When in the SATown area look us up we got hills, we just have to poach them, like the renegades that we are. Bring a longboard and soft wheels.

We got the real deal. Do you ever hit the skatepark here in Angelo on any of those weekend openings? How 'bout the pre-fab? I plan on skating a bit while here. Hope to see ya around!

There are all sorts of spots to ride in San jOse from death defying fast to world class courses with sweet turns and also smooth butter runs. did you notice all those foothills around? Try Saratoga, Los Gatos, Los Altos, Fremont. O you want something in San Jose try the east side there everywhere! Get out and find something. Try the parks in the morning kids do not get up to the park at that time. as for bikes at Sunnyvale try going back i dough you will see many. No sk8ers likes them there. Craig and Mitch if you ever want to ride hit me a line; there are so many gems in San Jose area it hard to hit all of them. Pools, ditches, bomb runs, mellow runs parking garages and on and on and on and on.......................... Later MJ

Anyone know of some nice carving hills near San Jose. Seems pretty flat. I'm a "vintage" skater and not looking for anything too radical or with traffic.
Also love to find something like a mellow park ("baby bowls", small ditches) without the requisite kids on BMX bikes. Checked out Sunnyvale skatepark and it was packed at 120 in the afternoon during the week. Half were kids on bikes...
