There will be 1 or 2 SGS Deathraces at Mt. Tabor again this year. I will schedule them so there is no conflict with CSA and StrykerSA races or DH races elsewhere. Portland Pusher 10 will be sometime in Aug. or early Sept. and the Champ will decide the date to suit him/her. Longboard Larry will be holding some races, the ZOO BOMB race is in 3 weeks, and the Annie Ross Open is in April.

CSA races this season

We should plan our entire series of races for this season.
Right now we have 3:
April 06 Salem BBQ opening (non-race?) June 21-22 Oregon State Games (race) July 11-13 Hood River
What about Spokane? What about Ridgefield? Seattle? More Salem events? Other events?
Getting these on the calendar early can help out a lot.

SLAYLEM! I like it! And yeah, those cones look gnar. Reminds me of slaloming the Qwest field garage with the cones they set up. It hurt too.

Great link Dan! Rob's a really cool guy, we've had a few mails back and forth. I'd hoped to catch him on the U.S. portion of his trek, but he's wisely taking the sunbelt. What a killer adventure. I'd love joining a massive skate like this, but I gotta win the lottery and quit my job. 10 more years on the mortgage. So, weekend warrior rides for now!
A Northwest guy I've been distance riding with over the summer - Sheldon Lessard - just started a big trek a few days ago, the entire length of New Zealand with a small crew. http://www.skatenewzealand.com/
When he's back, we're doing another 24-hour ultraskate here in spring, which is awesome, because we'll be pushing each other the entire way. That gives everyone here at least 4 months to train!

"The 27-year-old New Zealander has a long way to go on his beat-up long board. He’s going for the Guinness Book of World Records for longest skateboard journey. His goal is 5,100 miles, more than 1,500 miles longer the current record."

Happy Holidays to everyone. Mark and I are immune to the post Christmas sales. We're sitting here in Sandpoint, getting ready to go skiing for the day and waking up by watching the "Make You Smile" video about the Skate Across America and Adam Colton et al.
The session on the 29th sounds great, but we're booked. What else is going on in January?
We just wanted to check in, say hi to all, and wish everyone good winter boarding (either on snow or pavement).
