Hey, so it think we're gonna be having a little session sun afternoon in SF. Probably Sunset or presidio. i got a couple people together on the sflongboarding forum. I'll post up again when I have concrete details. Also, just to test the waters, who all would be interested in a GGP outlaw push race? i've already got a bit of interest on the other site, maybe a Sun later on in october. oh yeah, not exactly bay area but anyone here about the skate the lake event in Tahoe Oct 6th-7th check out www.skatethelake.com for details.

This week I will be up at Tahoe's Northshore -- getting in some park and slalom skating while on vacation. See the NCDSA Events page for more on that.
How about an October 8th GGP Sunday Slalom Session? starting at 2pm, ending by 5pm. Post here if you can make that!

fun contest yesterday, I believe Cab won grandmaster, April Woodcock for the ladies, Benji Galloway for the pros (not sure though)
The jam session made things exciting.. couple of bad slams resulting in broken wrist and broken femur.
also, congrats to David Price for 3rd at Sandia!

Tim Brauch contest Can't make it today due to a family obligation. Would be cool if someone can post the results of top 3 to 5 finishers in bowl contest. The Tim Brauch website does not get updated much.
Catalina / Santa Cruz Slalom Judi, saw your post on Slalom forum about organizing a 2-day slalom contest. A contest in Northern Cal would be awesome! Is there anyone trying to organize an event in Bay Area? Maybe the folks who go to GGP and Bernal could talk about that-- even if it is a small amateur event the fist time.
Bernal / Sunnyvale Is Bernal every Saturday still? Someone please post here or email me. Who is up for a Sunnyvale Saturday afternoon skatepark session after a Beranl morning slalom?
Walnut Creek Skatepark Great tri-bowl and a fun steep wall off of the street flow area. Lights stay on until 9pm. Who wants to meet there sometime? Let me know -- since I live nearby, can make it there easy.

Wow... I really wanted to get up to the contest yesterday, but I had a pack of 5 kids and their bikes. Sunday is my work day so no contest for me... wish I could see the pros shred the big bowl.
I'll see you all at the Slalom Clinic next weekend! Somewhere along the line I hope to hit Bernal wit y'all as well.

Just got back from watching the little tykes at the memorial skate in Scotts Valley. Ahhhhhh, I remember way back when when I felt no fear! They ripped it up. Mark, Drew-- Bernal was fun this morning. Thanks for all the tips & critique.
Drew, thanks for bringing the cones. I had a great time despite my fall on the 1st run-- what a freakin' klutz! Ya'll didn't know it, but I fell so hard on my shoulder that I almost threw up-- I hid it well, huh? Ok, I whined a little. See ya'll next time-- maybe Steve will actually show up!!!!
