Me and my frend Tomas is making longboards. They are called Downhill Demons and are handshaped and handpainted, really scarry stuff. We also have a line of clothing comming late November. We live in the north of Sweden and the longboard "scene" is small here, but not for long.
Contact us if want anything.

Howzit longboarders? I'm an artist and I've been making fully custom 60" longboard skates. All are hand painted and as of now done to order. Our boards are perfect for polishing your surfing footwork or just cruising. A lot of people like to hang 'em on their wall. Feel free to e-mail me for info. Take it easy and don't loose the soul! -JB

I'm thinking of biulding my own longboard (60"). I want it as slim as I could get it but still have flex and strength for cruising around town. Could you tell me what kind of stuff I should use,(wood, trucks, wheels, etc.)And what it would probably cost me(if you have the time) thancks so very much.

Is it possible to make a longboard deck 47"-50" by using the 3-12mm aluminium. Any experiences. Is it better to do little concave for stiffening. What kinda trucks are the best for carving. I use tracker-trucks and Unit polished 8,25", are they good.
Keep carving in your mind!

SKATEPUNK13--- first off, if you want a good cruiseing board, you need to get some eXkates. They work wonders. Next, if you didnt like the xtreme slicks then you should get some Kryptonics 70mm. I have made a few of my own boards, they turned out really nice. I made the design myself, went and got a slab of nice hobby birtch plywood, and i fiberglassed the top and bottom, which makes for a great clear grip surface, and it is pretty easy to do.
email me with any questions,
matt

I make and sell my own longboard skateboards in Australia. All of my boards are concaved and some have kicks. They come in traditional longboard shapes at 55 and 60 inches, and in a showboard shape at 45 inches. Custom orders are also encouraged - for the right price we can make ANYTHING!!!. Email me for any info, USA stockists, dealers and distributors welcome.

you can get sillica sand at home depot(by the concrete) for that nifty clear traction set up earlier. by the way the water based eurathane works as good as the oil and dries faster. IN IT FOR THE RIDE! LAND SHARK SKATE BOARDS

I am looking for a RANDAL truck distributor in the Tampa Bay ,Fla area. Or possibly just a dealer in my area (ST Pete) that can get them for me. And for those guys looking for the best wood for a home made longboard, try a water ski the slolom ski's tend to run alittle wider but the front of the ski makes a killer kick-tail and most are already concave and at least 5 to 7 plies. Check out the articles on the "nose wheelie" web sight(archives) (97').
Peace and lotts of soul!!!!!
