I have one, not a NOS one, that is setup with NOS Tracker Mids, and Road Rider #4's. It's a totally cool board. I wish ( hey G&S Deb listen up!!) that they would reissuse one in a 36". Small enough to carry every where, big enough to really ride.
Enojoy yours

Scabs,
This deck is so fresh I hate to even set it up but I'm not a collector so I am going to trick it out with ACS 651's and Powell Bones wheels or a good soft park wheel. I may go with old school meets new school and mount some new Indy 126's w/ some Kryptos and head straight for the Coronado Skate Park or OB to carve the bowls. Should make a sweet park board. What were you thinking of doing?

Just got my Teamrider in the mail from Switzerland. It was still in its original package. The paint is so fresh you can almost smell it. Thanks Andreas! To all of you who ordered one, you won't be disappointed.

What a great site! All my stuff gets listed there from now on. Oh and on the home page, I wonder who that could be??? HMMMMM could it be a young BoBo from 1972 with his first skateboard? Wish I still had that Black Knight! But I skated it till the wheels fell off. I may bid on one on eBay unless someone puts one up on soulgarage. Then it's MINE!

Hey,could someone help me here. I have these red Kryptonics 60mm x 45mm "Kryptos" wheels i found from a garage sale. They were mounted on NHL rollerskates and they´re in very decent condition for used ones.
I´ve put them on my ´86 Tracker Dan Wilkes with sixtracks and i love cruisin´ on them! Question is,what´s the Kryptonics "code" for these babies? (CX-series etc.)or are they just "Kryptos" What period of time they were produced? Are there any available anymore, anywhere? I´ve seen yellow ones used for a rolling camera-stand,can you believe that? I sure would have better use for those!!
I´m kinda new to this, been skating only from late 1986. Any info is appreciated! Thanks!

Hello ncdsa people. Hopefully you have noticed the soulgarage.com banner at the top of this page. Well here’s what it’s all about. Having been an avid skateboard memorabilia collector since the late 1980’s, I am always on the lookout for new ways to find that special board. Over the last few years I have bought and sold numerous items on Ebay. Lately, as the “skate” category has grown to thousands of items on Ebay, it has become increasingly difficult to find what you’re interested in, not to mention time consuming. So I decided to start an auction site specializing in boardsport memorabilia and other vintage soulful action sports gear. Some of you guys might know me as the organizer of the recent 2001 World Slalom Championships, or from my two treks across the United States by skateboard or even my “Action Now” sandboarding days. I’ve been around skateboarding and the industry since 1974 and it is a huge part of my life. My partner in this venture is Rene Bruce of longskate.com and Fluid Skateboards. We have been friends since the early 90’s and always wanted to do something together, so when I approached him with the idea for soulgarage.com he jumped right on board…pun intended. So here we are…while our little site may not have all the bells and whistles of Ebay, we hope that you will find it fun, interesting , functional and soulful. We invite your input on all aspects of the site and we will strive to continually improve soulgarage.com. While Rene and myself may list items for sale, we will never participate as buyers. So take a minute and register, list something for sale or just look around, and most importantly have some fun on your surf down memory lane. And oh yeah, tell a friend!
Thanks, Jack and Rene

Phil, If they are the yellow roller derbys (mine say 88 on the sidewalls) and around 60mm they work fine. They are of course a tad bit small side, but then stradas are popular at 62mm. I found these wheels to have extremely high traction, higher than I would think for 88a, but then they weren't exactly the fastest wheels either. I'd say run em and find out!!! Skateon!

Hardcaore bushings

I've had great fortune with the Bones Hardcores on my Gullwing Phoenix as well. I didn't wannna mess up the orig bushings and found I'd stumblied on real bushings with the Bones. They are as good or better than the stock bushings and are readily available. Make no "bones" about it. Stick with what works. Sides we can adjust our Gullys any way we like! Unlike other truck manufacturers they thought ahead!

Joe T,besides the Tensor top buhings,I'd also have you look at Randal's Yellow bushing(top + bottom are conical)or maybe use two sets of the Black top bushings to get a stiffer feel.I'm mentioning the Randals because the bushing's height is similar, not at all like those squished-down little things Doh-Doh sells.Dang, fixin' these older boards up is gettin' tougher to deal with every passing day..

Joe T, I've been using the Bones Hardcore Dual Durometer bushings in my Gullwing HPG IV's. They work great. The urethane in these bushings is very resilient, which makes the trucks snap back to center (similar to springs), rather than taking a "set".

Typical all this discussion of Gullwings and Kryptonics, I decided to get my stuff out and dust it off, sad thing is im a bit heavier than I was 20 years ago, so I tighten up the bushes but a part of me feels there to loose, mmm, harder bushes may be required, I did give everything a good overhaul but the top washers still touch the hangers if I go a bit ballastic. Anyone no of a replacement conical bush for gullwing hpg's.

Never could cut a line with those bones cubics. Pretty good in a bowl or on anything smooth, but on the road? No way. Great for sliding, however. Giant controlled slides are about what I can get out of them. They were the last set of wheels I bought the first time around (must've been '80) but went back to the green snakes shortly thereafter. The snakes are wicked on concrete, too. MH

This is an excellent price for these. They look brand new and edible fer cripes sake. I can actually get em in bulk for cheaper so shout out if you and your friends need sets. I can help.
