Right now it is sporting a set of NOS Tracker Halftrac's. However, it is missing the appropriate wheels. The old ones did have a kicktail, and according to the ad, the construction was "...Pro-Tuff Glass Belly Pan, Captive Airlight Core, Hardwood Rails, Urethane Pro-Coat..." Not sure what is meant by "Direct Drive" in the ad, which supposedly made them the "best turning, smothest riding truck ever built." If I recall correctly, this was Bennett's last gasp for survival after the Bennett heyday of the mid-late '70's. But at a whopping $50 per pair (in 1986!!) it's easy to see why they didn't fly. Plus, by the mid-'80's it was ALL about ramps, and these don't seem like the best vert or grinding trucks. By the way, check out the deck! I never saw one of these (at $60 bucks in 1986 dollars nobody I knew was rich enough to own one!), but it sure looks to me like there is NO KICKTAIL! Both pics show that. Anybody know anything about the Bennett Airlite deck? I know one thing for sure: These things would go for a small fortune on eBay today!     Rate post 67104 !
