I just remembered I am homeless when I arrive, except for the car rental. Do you have any suggestions? Near airport? Thanks for your consideration. joyce

Skip-I'm all set for Hood River; room, gear, car, friends, signups. Yes it is the Burnside park, I didnt want to really announce my arrival, trying to be low key. I will be there and see you before the contests.

B Park? ... Burnside? What do you need? I am picking up Evan and Steph at the airport on Wednesday night. We are planning to head to Hood early on Thursday. We'd be glad to meet up with you at this B park place. I was planning on taking Evan to Burnside Thursday AM anyway. Whatever you need, let me know, eh?
Give me a call or email at imslider at mac d0t c0m
Haven't seen the sun since we got to Morro Bay this morning. We'll keep you CSA'ers posted

Hi Everybody - Brad, hope you are rehabbing well and quickly, Mark showed me the video today - yikes! Take care.
Here's a link to the skating partner I was hanging out with while all of you were in Salem. He prefers longboarding (really loooooong) and the quest for an appropriate pair of shoes is tough. See all of you in Hood River. (It's the first time I've tried to link a photo, so I hope I did it right). Judy

Darrin - Hey, I saw that, so "Thanks!"
Pat - Thanks again for putting on the State Games and doing all the legwork to get everything arranged, that was fun.
"World Record Day" - I might be able to make it Sunday or Monday, but a monday might be not so do-able for most.

World Record Courses -- Weekend of Sept 6,7,8
I think we can do this all in 1 day. Which day is your preference?
Salem track is not available on Sept 6,7
I have other areas I have scoped out which are ideal for the flat courses (25, 50 cones), but have less attractive 100-cone areas (less attractive than Salem).
Comments? Any places in Seattle to do this?
Is anyone really interested?

Hey Darrin, Thanks for posting the BBQ video, that was fun to watch.
Do me a favor if you have time(and if Adam will let you), post it on the slalom forum so everyone can see what a good hill we have in Salem so we can get more interest. Thanks, -Paul

Yep, They're pretty dang environment-altering, just like that newspaper link you provided had mentioned. Good eating just so long as you get them in areas where a lot of chemical spraying is NOT happening. Fill your freezers with plent of free good meat, save the hides and make some sporty mittens and hats, get enough and you can have a good coat for in the deep cold. Make sure you bring a good heavy club if you try to bow hunt them, best way is to use bib-overall waders and stalk them slowly in the water. That's my 2 Cents. -P

Here is some old footage from our BBQ that we had in Salem. This is NOT the State Games footage. However we will be making a couple of videos soon so just keep watching the site.
I did not choose the song. . . that would be my dad (Corey).
