Anyone know of a less expensive motel in Salem than Motel 6---- like a low budget "No Tell Motel"????
Four of us are driving up on a very limited budget & with gas at $3.00 plus a gallon...........
E-mail me---- Thanks!
Pray for sunshine!

With race season starting, it time to get some new shoes. I'm looking for a "local" shoe buddy. I like Vans Half Cabs and Classic SK8 Hi tops, size 11, and I foot brake with my left. I was thinking of getting a pair of Half Cabs, and splitting another. If your interested & we're a match, email me. I'm going to order some next weekend. Malcolm- Start saving for Hood River Now!! You cannot miss this race, If you find yourself short on cash, I will gladly buy your Radikal Truck, and Foam Axe 3. Seriously tho- this WILL be the Premier race for this area. This will be a great experience for all of the Canadian Slalomers.
Also, Happy Belated 39th Birthday to James Peters ( Feb. 18th). This is your year, you're on top of the hill. Next year everything goes downhill, or at least your eyesite.

Hey CSA- After doing this for the last 4 years, we have a pretty good idea of what needs to be done, who we need to talk to and what permits are needed. I have a master list of all the tasks we need done. I have all the contact numbers for all the equipment rentals, permit info, and other things we need to have in place for the race. I will need your help!
You guys have always been a huge part of the success of the races in the past and I know we can pull this one off and make it better than ever!
Stay Tuned. Gareth

Organizational meeting at the BBQ?

Maybe we should plan on a sit-down CSA organizational get-together at (or after) the BBQ.
We could set a race schedule for the rest of the year and try to assign jobs for each of us at the "big" races that need some help....

Hey All you CSAers, If you didn't hear Steven King has retired from racing for the time being. So that means Gareth will need all of our help to pull off Hood River this year. Like the Downhillbillies everyone needs to be involved in some way or another. It doesn't matter to what extent,But we need to make this year's race the best CSA event ever!Organization will be the key. Gareth has very limited time So... Please contact me or James Peters for more info. We will be posting a list of tasks that need to be carried out. If everyone can pick even just one task to take care of this race will be an Epic event. The courses will be set by CSA racers this year. Thanks for all of your support. I know the CSA crew will come through and The 2007 CSA Hood River Race will go down as one of the best Races of the year. See Ya. John
